Shreveport Police Make Arrest in Firearm Threatening Case

On October 28th, 2023, around 2:08 a.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a call of an assault and battery in the 4700 block of Hilry Huckaby Avenue. Responding officers found that a female was reportedly armed with a firearm and threatening a neighbor.

Further investigation revealed that Lashaira Brandon (6-26-93) was involved in the dispute. Brandon reportedly produced a firearm and threatened to injure the victim before fleeing the area.

Brandon was subsequently arrested by patrol officers and charged with one count of aggravated assault on November 7th, 2023. No one was injured in this incident.
