One Of Our Favorite Events Of The Spring Is Back In Tyler!

As the temps begin to warm up and we head back outside, if you don't want to be bothered with movie theaters not giving you everything paid for at the concession stand, one of the East Texas' favorite spring events is returning as Movies in the Park is back this spring!

Tyler Parks and Recreation will host three free movie nights for families and community members at Bergfeld Park, 1510 S. College Ave., and one at Fun Forest Pool, 900 N. Glenwood Ave, this April and May.

All movies are free admission. Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to enjoy the evening. Since 2005, the Parks Department has shown 131 free movies and they're all family friendly so pack the snacks and blankets and get ready for this great lineup!

Bergfeld Park will host 3 movies this spring starting this week.

 

Saturday, Apr. 27 at 8:15 p.m. – Wall-E, rated G.

Saturday, May 4 at 8:15 p.m. – A Million Miles Away, rated PG.

Saturday, May 18 at 8:15 p.m. – Elemental, rated PG.

These Boys From Across Texas Went Missing In March, Have You Seen Them?

Missing Children in Texas. No one wants to see those four words, but sadly it does happen. Kids in Texas go missing and last month 29 Texas kids went missing and that includes these 11 boys that are still missing as of 4/22/24 according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. You can help bring them home. Please look through the pictures below and see if you recognize any of these kids.
