A newly released batch of documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein has a surprising Louisiana reference: Shreveport.

According to a report from The Advocate, an email dated May 2017 shows Kathryn Ruemmler writing that she was “just leaving Shreveport” in the early morning hours, calling the city “a dump” in the message.

The line is going viral because it appears in a new Justice Department release tied to the Epstein records. The U.S. Department of Justice says it has published millions of pages in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
