Hit and Run in Louisiana Caught on Camera

A hit and run at a roundabout in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana was caught on camera and now the community is asking if you can help identify the truck that hit a car.

The incident happened at the Doyle Melancon Road and Grand Point Highway roundabout.

As you'll see in the video below, the car yields to oncoming traffic at the roundabout as the white or silver pickup truck approaches. After the car doesn't go where the driver of the truck thought it should, the truck proceeds to rear-end the car.

The car then appears to stop in front of the truck that just hit it, and that is when the driver of this white pickup truck backs up and continues to flee the scene of the wreck.

The video, obtained from a nearby church, has been shared across social media, and many are asking that if you recognize the truck, you call the Breaux Bridge Police at (337) 332-2186.
