This was, without question, the biggest car dealership remote I've ever been a part of. Here's the full story!

This is one radio station event that I still get questions about to this day. For this #tbt, we'll go all the way back to June of 2011. At that time, you may remember, I was doing live broadcasts every weekend for three hours at Rountree Ford. These remotes were always fun, and we always found new, unique ways to encourage listeners to come out. We would have Monster Trucks on site, concert ticket giveaways, and on one occasion, we threw a literal concert right there on the patio.

That's right, Cody Simpson was traveling through Shreveport on the same day, during the same time of our K945 remote from Rountree Ford. We convinced him to stop by and perform an acoustic set for our listeners. We didn't really know what to expect, and what happened next completely blew us, and Cody, completely away.

On a 100-degree day at a car dealership in Shreveport, we packed hundreds of listeners on that patio and at that dealership. So many listeners came out and had a one-of-a-kind experience. I'll never forget that day, and I know our listeners won't forget it either!
