Jay’s #TBT: Paul Wall Didn’t Realize Bizzy Body Had a Line Dance

Several years ago, Paul Wall performed at Horseshoe's Dare Dayclub. He was in for quite a shock when he performed his hit song, "Bizzy Body".

Shreveport, you never cease to amaze me. You also amazed rapper Paul Wall quite a bit. This is one of my favorite radio stories to tell and I'm happy to share it with you all today.

If you go out in Shreveport-Bossier to any night club, chances are at some point you will hear Bizzy Body by Paul Wall. The song itself wasn't necessarily a world-beater upon it's release, but at least in Shreveport, it's aged into a blossoming line dance song. I'd put it right on par with The Wobble as one of if not the requested line dance song on the weekends. Every single Friday and Saturday night, this song comes on and the dance floor quickly fills up with everyone in the room following along to the same line dance.

It has been this way since I started playing in night clubs in Shreveport nearly ten years ago.

However, Paul Wall was unaware of the songs booming popularity in Shreveport... Until he performed it here.

While performing "Bizzy Body" at Dare Dayclub, the place erupts and breaks out into a big line dance. This shocked and borderline startled Paul Wall, as he turned and asked "What the hell is everyone doing".

The guy had never once seen anyone do a line dance to that song, and said Shreveport is the only place that does it.

How perfectly Shreveport is that?
