Once Upon a Time, Shreveport Had a Jersey Mike's.

Jersey Mike's is a New Jersey–based sandwich chain serving subs filled with cold cuts & toppings. One thing many people love about Jersey Mike's is that they have freshly baked bread and they cut the meat and cheese right in front of you. The Jersey Mike's in Shreveport closed down in 2015 and since then so many residents in Shreveport-Bossier keep begging for a comeback.

Would Jersey Mikes Return to Youree Drive?

They didn't even decide to open up in Shreveport, they set their eyes on North Bossier.

Crews are hard at work at 2650 Beene Boulevard in Bossier. I saw new floors being put in and a beautiful sign that promised us that Jersey Mike's is on the way. There is still no word on an opening date.

It's Not Just Cold Sandwiches at Jersey Mike's.

The submarine sandwich spot was founded in 1956 and has been thriving ever since. Jersey Mike's menu is divided into 5 sections cold subs, hot subs, wraps, sub tub, and kid's meals.
