The Krewe of Centaur has been rolling since 1991 in Shreveport and has become an icon and tradition of the local Mardi Gras scene in the city. Most people enjoy the parade from the curb or sidewalk, but your kids, from 8-12, have a chance to see the magic of the festival from the floats. The Krewe's packages for kids are limited and cost $50 for membership fees and $250 for the package of throwables for the parade.

With so many people out and about during a Mardi Gras parade, it's reasonable that parents might be worried about their young ones. Centaur is promising your kids a safe ride on the floats, with two of the Krewe of Centaur's Flight Lieutenants on board to keep everyone safe. The Float Lieutenants will go above and ensure everyone's safety by helping kids out with throws to make sure they go home with an unforgettable Mardi Gras memory.
