This Boozy Crockpot Christmas Cocktail Will Raise Your ‘Spirits’
If there's one thing I know about life and celebrations in Louisiana, is that they're usually accompanied by a tasty adult beverage. I can't wait to try this Christmas cocktail!
I love to cook and do you know what I love even more? My crockpot! Yep, I'm the self-proclaimed queen of the crockpot. Seriously, if you have a crockpot and some kind of cream of something soup and some chicken broth, I'll whip out a gourmet meal for you!
While I call myself the Crockpot Queen™, I can't say that I've ever made a beverage with my crockpot(s). I can't think of a better place to start than with this lush-looking concoction. Take a look!
Clearly, a trip to Thrifty Liquor is in my future for Bailey's Irish Cream and Cointreau, but I think it's worth it. Of course, Bailey's is always worth the drive, but add cocoa powder and Nutella, and I guarantee you'll have an instant Louisiana Christmas crockpot cocktail winner! I had to look out what single cream was though... According to Fresh Choice, it's 'a thin cream traditionally used for pouring and for enriching cooked dishes, it contains 18%-20% fat.' It's also known as light cream and it's not isn't suitable for whipping.
