With the Mardi Gras season upon us and revelry descends on the entire state - not to mention the ArkLaTex - the personal finance website WalletHub released its report on 2019's Most Sinful States, plus the accompanying Mardi Gras Facts: Booze, Floats, Money and More. To determine which parts of the country might be the most morally challenged, WalletHub compares the 50 states based on seven sinful behaviors: anger and hatred, jealousy, excesses and vices, greed, lust, vanity and laziness.

And where does our own Pelican State stand? When it comes to any of the previous, particularly vices and lust, Louisiana stands proudly at #6!
