Monroe Man Waves Down Louisiana Cop So He Can Slap Him

When I saw a tweet that claimed that a man flagged down a cop just to slap him in the face I was like, "Come on Florida what is wrong with you?". Imagine my surprise when I found out that the incident happened right here in the Bayou State. In Monroe of all places.

In case you're trying to find the quickest way to end up in jail, we just found it.

Ouachita Parish has made national news because a man thought it's perfectly fine to yell "f*** the police" and slap a Monroe police officer.

According to WAFB, this is how it happened. On October 24th, a Sunday night, a Monroe police officer was flagged down by a man now identified as Troy Davis. The officer's arrest report said that the man approached his driver-side window, greeting him by saying "What's up, man?". The officer wasn't given a chance to respond, he was instantly slapped in the face.

What's worse is the part that Davis thought he'd gotten away with it and yelled “F*** the police” as he made his getaway.

One of my all-time favorite skits is the Rick James slapping skit. "What did the 5 fingers say to the face?" Does it now ring a bell? Watch the video below.

Keep in mind it is never a good idea to slap anyone much less a police officer. Troy Davis was arrested and booked on a felony charge of battery of a police officer.
