Talk about tugging at your heartstrings! This out of state pet adopter is saving a dog from the Caddo Parish Animal Shelter in Shreveport, LA, and has turned to Reddit users for help giving this rescue a 'proper' Louisiana name!

First of all, what a wonderful human being to adopt an animal in Louisiana from all the way up in Maryland. Second of all, how cool is it to want to honor where that pup came from? While Roux, Saint, and Louie are all great names for a dog from Louisiana, I'd love to be able to give this adopter a ton of options to choose from. Here are some of the different suggestions they've already come up with on Reddit.
