TMZ is reporting that Mac Miller died today in an apparent overdose at his San Fernando Valley home.  The 26 year old rapper, who split from Ariana Grande earlier this year, was pronounced dead at the scene by law enforcement.

It's no secret that Miller had a history of issues with drinking and drug abuse - most recently being arrested for a hit and run and DUI in May.  In that incident, he found after fleeing the scene and was tested with a breathalyzer.   The rapper was found to be over twice the legal limit. The celebrity website also reports that although Miller struggled with substance abuse in the past, the issue had become much larger after the split with his long time sweet-hart, Ariana Grande.   The singer described their relationship as "toxic" in an interview with Billboard after the May 2018 split.

The Pittsburgh native was set to start his Swimming tour in San Francisco October 27th.  The story is still developing.
