Man Wounded in Shooting in Shreveport

Another night of violence in Shreveport. A man is shot in the head and the leg.

The shooting happened in the 800 block of Pierre Avenue in the Allendale neighborhood at about 11:30 Monday night. The victim was was standing outside when he heard several shots and then he was hit. The victim was shot in the head and leg area. He taken to University Health hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect was wearing dark clothing and riding in a dark-colored car. The victim is expected to recover. Police are looking for clues into the shooting.
