Mardi Gras in the SBC Kicks Off this Saturday with 12th Night!

I dropped off five Mardi Gras dresses to the cleaners today and got a Dryel for the rest that can't be dry cleaned... I'm getting my nails done tonight and I plan to Mystic in the morning. Yep, Mardi Gras kicks off this Saturday and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Don't get me wrong, I like the holidays just fine, but I LOVE MARDI GRAS! I wish I would have known earlier that you don't have to be a member of a krewe to take part in all of the Mardi Gras festivities in the SBC. In fact, if you want to find out more about Mardi Gras, make sure you come to 12th Night this Saturday at the Bossier Civic Center presented by the Krewe of Centaur and the Krewe of Gemini. It's Mardi Gras casual and all of the area krewes will be represented. They'll present the royalty from each of the krewes, have a huge 2nd line and I'll be hosting!!! I've attached this year's calendar of Mardi Gras festivities for your perusal! If I might recommend another event for this weekend, it's Mardi Gras Mass. All of the info is listed below. I hope to see you at all of these fabulous events. With all of the different krewes in the area, there's a fit for everyone!
