Mariah Yeater Says The Paternity Case Isn’t Over

The news broke Wednesday that Mariah Yeater secretly dropped the paternity suite against Justin Bieber. We thought this charade was over, but Mariah is just making some changes in her case. Her old legal team resigned and Jeffrey Leving took over as lawyer. Jeffery is saying that dropping the lawsuit was just part of a legal strategy. He talked to the news yesterday to discuss some changes in the case. They now want to handle the paternity out of court and keep the results a secret. They are saying that Mariah has been receiving death threats, they want to handle this case privately. Mariah says that she has proof that Justin is the father of her 4 month old baby, but it seems that evidence keeps stacking up against her. TMZ released several text messages that Mariah sent to an unnamed friend, begging him to erase all the incriminating messages that she sent him. She offered the friend a cut of money if he would destroy the text messages where she named her ex boyfriend, Robbie, as the father of her baby. One of those text messages says, ‘Please stress to Robbie how important it is for him to be in son’s life.’ Justin’s lawyers saw these text messages and released this statement; ‘This information proves Mariah Yeater fabricated the story. Our independent investigation indicates Ms. Yeater never met Justin, she has consistently identified another man as the child's father, and Ms. Yeater and her co-conspirators hatched this scheme in order to extort money from him and to sell her story to the media."
