John C. McGinley Movies to Watch Before Geek’d Con

Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, is coming back to Downtown Shreveport this August. The 2024 Geek'd Con will take place August 16th, 17th, and 18th, at the Shreveport Convention Center.

The guest lineup will include horror movie icon Tony Todd, E.T. stars Henry Thomas and Dee Wallace, the voice of Master Chief Steve Downes, award winning actor Billy Zane, the voice of Mickey Mouse Bret Iwan, and many more incredibly talented celebrities.

One of the fan favorite guests this year is John C. McGinley.

He's best known for his work on the award winning TV show Scrubs, where he played Dr. Perry Cox, but McGinley's movie resume is pretty impressive too. His work is referenced by the entire internet on a regular basis.

For example, his role as Bob Slydell in Office Space is quoted by Gen X and Millennial office workers daily. His final scene in Se7en gets referenced anytime a box is being opened (WHAT'S IN THE BOX!??!). While his insults from Point Break get recycled regularly...for example "You know nothing. In fact, you know less than nothing. If you knew that you knew nothing, then that would be something, but you don't."

Now fans will get a chance to quote their favorite lines from his movies with him at Geek'd Con in Shreveport. McGinley is set to appear on August 17th and 18th to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. And yes, he will sign your favorite quote too.
