Millennials Might Save Public Libraries
It's no secret that in the past few decades less and less people have been going to public libraries but that might be changing. KSLA reports that a recent study done last year shows that more than half of the people that went to libraries were millennials. They're going for both the books and quiet reading space as well as for all the children activities many libraries have added.
As much as the digital age has taken over our culture and changed everything forever it's still nice to relax with a nice book. And with the addition of children literacy programs and educational activities more and more young families are going. Here in Bossier once a week we take our daughter to story time at the library which includes songs, stories and arts & crafts.
