Missing 3-year-old Shreveport Boy Located

A 3-year-old boy who apparently walked away from his family's home early this morning has been located.

Shreveport police say the little boy apparently walked away from a home in the 700 block of Meadowdale Place at around 1:30 a.m.

Just after 9 a.m., authorities learned the child was found by a female in the 800 block of Woodmont place. Shreveport firefighters examined the boy and found out he was not injured. He's been reunited with his family and is doing well.

Detectives are still investigating.
