More than 100 Drivers Get Tickets on I-20
A massive effort to stop speeders on I-20 results in dozens of tickets being handed out.
This was a joint operation between Troop G and Shreveport Police.
KEEL News spotted no fewer than 10 Shreveport patrol cars and 4 or 5 State Police cruisers were involved in the operation.
101 cars were stopped for speeding during the day long operation. 99 speeding tickets were issued and 38 other citations were issued.
As I passed by the area, it was quite apparent the officers could not pull over cars fast enough. Each time they finished handing out one ticket, another speeder was pulled over.
