Grab your friends, your family, heck, grab a stranger! Mudbug Madness 39 kicks off Thursday, May 25th, 2023, with a new feature, Mudbug Madness Rewind! The party returns to Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport and we've compiled everything you need to know right here all in one quick, easy-to-read page.

Here are a few of the things you need to know to make the most of Mudbug Madness!

• Thursday, May 25 The Boomers, The Crawdads, and Papa Mali's Shantytown Underground Band
• Friday, May 26 Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band and Tipsey the Band
• Saturday, May 27 Sammy Kershaw and Stiff Necked Fools
• Sunday, May 28 Blue Crab Redemption and Bag of Donuts

The big four contests are back!

• Media Crawfish Eating Contest Friday 11:30 am
• Men's Crawfish Eating Contest Saturday 1 pm
• Crawfish Calling Contest Saturday 4:15 pm
• Women's Crawfish Eating Contest Sunday 2:30 pm

Other things you need to know

• There will be lots of crawfish... boiled, broiled, cooked, etc...
• Lots of adult beverages and activities for the kiddos, too!
• The cost to get in is $10 and you can get a 4-day pass for $15
• Free admission until 5 pm Friday with $5 lunch specials from 11 am - 2 pm and happy hour from 11 am - 7 pm with all drinks $4
• Children under 12 years are free
• Military get in free all weekend long
• Sign up each day starting at 11 am for the cornhole tournaments Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• The Mudbug Madness 5K is Friday starting at 6:45 pm
