New Movie Trailer Pushes The Envelope with Suicide and Reality Television
Movies have always been a way for creative minds to reflect a mirror image of society. I think that is why I love movies. However, one movie trailer that was just released yesterday is causing a lot of controversy about it's subject matter.
The trailer show what looks like a television finale of The Bachelor where the woman who didn't get picked to be with the millionaire kills herself during a live broadcast after attempting to harm others.
This makes the producers create a new show that allows its contestants to commit suicide on live broadcast so their families will be sent a lot of money.
I know... It's really a messed up concept. If you want to check out the trailer click here. However, I must warn you that it is very shocking and visual.
I have watched the trailer about 4 or 5 times now and I don't know what is more shocking the fact that they would make a television show with this concept or the crowds reaction in the stands. I am on the fence about seeing this movie, but I know it going to be intense.
I am not someone who takes suicide lightly. Remember if you need help don't be afraid to ask for it. The suicide hotline is 1-800-273-8255. Help is always available. You matter.
