NFL teams are in the process of cutting their rosters down to 53 players this weekend. That means teams are cutting tons of players, with some teams cutting dozens of players.

The New Orleans Saints have a lot of names coming off the roster, including some recognizable NFL names, and a former LSU star. CBS Sports released this list of cuts for the Saints this morning:

CB Kayvon Webster, RB Kerwynn Williams, OL Fisayo Awolaja, WR Simmie Cobbs Jr., WR Travin Dural, WR Cyril Grayson Jr., DL Corbin Kaufusi, LB Drew Lewis, LB Darnell Sankey, FB Shane Smith, TE A.J. Derby, DL Geneo Grissom, OL Ryan Groy, RB Jacquizz Rodgers

Former LSU star Travis Dural was hoping to make the squad again, after being brought into the franchise multiple times since 2017. But Dural has never been able to make the active roster in all of his attempts.

Kerwynn Williams and Jacquizz Rodgers are both recognizable names across the NFL. Williams played in 39 games, starting 6, for the Arizona Cardinals over the last 4 seasons, while Rodgers has played in over 100 games in his NFL career (Atlanta/Chicago/Tampa Bay).

More cuts are expected from the Saints.
