New York Times’ ‘Places to Go List’ Includes Easy Road Trip for Shreveport

This easy-to-reach city is one of the top places to visit in the world.

What a world we live in?! There are so many beautiful, intriguing, and memorable places we can travel to. Plus, thanks to technology, we can get to these places easily by hopping on a plane or jumping in the car.

At the beginning of the year, the New York Times published an articles listing the top places to travel to in 2019. Of course, getting to all 52 Places to Go in one year would be pricey, but if you can swing it then go for it! It would make for a killer bucket list.

One of the places the Times selected is Houston, Texas.

Houston is just four hours from Shreveport by car which makes it a fairly easy road trip with your family or friends. The New York Times selected Houston because of the way it has bounced back from Hurricane Harvey. The city is thriving with culture, food, music, and American history.

It might be worth taking a weekend trip.
