Suzanne Whang of ‘House Hunters’ Fame Has Died At 56
After a thirteen year battle with breast cancer, Suzanne Whang has died at the young age of 56. May she rest in peace.
Although I never met her, like many of us, I felt I'd come to know her. It's amazing how much you can get to know someone, even just by knowing their voice. And her's was a signature one. I'm not necessarily an HGTV devotee, however House Hunters and House Hunters International are two shows I could watch into infinitum. Suzanne Whang's voice hosted the experience of the home buyers looking to find that "perfect home" within which to create family memories. We didn't get to see her face, but she was ever-present.
Whang was known for many other things, too. Her agent, Eddie Culbertson, told CNN that "she was an amazing brilliant light and will be missed." In addition to being the beloved voice of House Hunters, Whang was also an actress, author, minister, and so much more. She was known to be a kind, generous soul and was much loved by those who knew her.
May she rest in peace.
