I once sat and watched "Sharknado" that was an hour and a half of my life I can never get back. Sorry if you're a "Sharknado" fan, I swear I thought it was supposed to be a comedy. When I saw friends on my timeline sharing fake news I started to laugh thinking they knew for sure it was a joke, up until I saw other people chime in with their concerns. A fake headline read "Florence Now Contains Sharks". This viral photo has sent several people into a panic. I don't know if sharks get super powers if they're inside a hurricane, but I can reassure you that there aren't any Sharknado's heading to the Carolina's.

Break Your Own News, where you put in a headline, a ticker, and your own photo. If you just glance at the photo and don't take time to check out legitimate news sources it can really trick you. Remember, only you can prevent fake news. Fact-check the story before you share it on your socials.
