Northwestern State University Campuses In Natchitoches, Leesville/Fort Polk And Alexandria Close Tuesday

Northwestern State University's campuses in Natchitoches, Leesville/Fort Polk and Alexandria have announced they will be closed tomorrow in advance of Tuesday's impending inclement weather.

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University campuses in Natchitoches, Leesville and Alexandria will be closed Tuesday due to weather conditions. The Alexandria closure covers classes at the Learning Center for Rapides Parish and Rapides Regional Medical Center.

NSU’s Shreveport campus will be open. Students who have clinical classes in Shreveport and cannot safely travel to their sites on Tuesday should work with their instructors to be excused, according to Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Lisa Abney.

Northwestern State officials will meet on Tuesday to determine the university’s status on Wednesday.
