Get Ready For Peeping Todd’s Special Screenings In Shreveport
Louisiana Film Prize, part of Prize Fest, hands down is one of the coolest events in Northwest Louisiana. The grand prize winner gets $50k, entered into other film festivals...it's a cool deal all the way around.
And the best part is some of the AMAZING short films that come out of the festival. Some are hysterical. Some are dramatic. All high quality stuff worth checking out. The coolest part - some of these films break out of the Film Prize bubble, and take on a life of their own. And that's EXACTLY what happened with Peeping Todd.
Peeping Todd Is an Unconventional Shreveport Hit
The unconventional, Shreveport-made indie film has taken the world by storm since its original release in 2025. The film is unconventional and weird to say the least- part comedy, part horror, full on musical. But, the oddness of the film is what makes it so loveable...and award winning.
As one of the stars of the film, Chris Evans said "Peeping Todd has built a reputation as one of the film festival circuit’s strangest and most crowd-pleasing indie discoveries; often catching audiences off guard when a dark stalker comedy suddenly breaks into musical numbers."
Here's just some of the accolades the film has won since it launched:
- Best Director for Josh Munds at the Waco Indie Film Festival
- The Audience Award at Filmland, which included a $60,000 Panavision filmmaking grant
- Best Actor for Christopher Evans and Best Score at FilmQuest
And it doesn't get any more Shreveport-centric than Peeping Todd. The film was shot entirely in Shreveport with a cast and crew made up overwhelmingly of local artists, actors, musicians, and filmmakers. Locations include Centenary College of Louisiana, Querbes Park Golf Course, and numerous recognizable Shreveport locations woven throughout the film.

Peeping Todd Comes Home to Shreveport
After making the rounds on the festival circuit and racking up numerous accolades, Peeping Todd is coming back home to Shreveport. The film will get several special screenings at the Robinson Film Center in Downtown Shreveport.
The Robinson Will host 3 special screenings on May 15th, 22nd, and 29th at 8:30 PM. Tickets are available through Robinson Film Center website. But, if you're looking for the FULL Peeping Todd experience, you're going to want to get your tickets for the 29th. Because on the 29th, it's not just a screening it's a special event - featuring a live Q&A with cast and crew from the film, and the debut of the official Sing-Along version of the film (think Rocky Horror Picture...but slightly more creepy...in a good way).
