Pet Chameleon Tries to Pluck Owner’s Eye Out [VIDEO]

A Christmas Story sequel? Don't get the chameleon, it will pluck your eye out, kid!

A video has gone viral showing you that having a pet chameleon is not really such a good idea. Granted, they do look pretty cool and you can probably get a couple hundred Instagram likes on it's picture, but it will absolutely try to kill you.

These things are not meant to be pets, they are meant to be in the wild, sucking down insects and stuff. So, obviously, when you decide to keep one for yourself, it gets hungry, and then will try to eat you.

That's the only logical conclusion I can muster up after watching a maniac chameleon try to pluck out it's owner's eyeball in the blink of an eye. Yes, pun fully intended.

In the video, that lizard shoots it tongue out at the eyeball like a lightning bolt. Luckily, the owner was able to close her eyelid just in time, saving her from a life as a chameleon-owning pirate.
