Twitter Locks President Trump’s Account For 12 Hours For ‘Repeated Violations’
Twitter announced that they have locked the account of President Donald Trump for repeated violations of its rules.
The social media platform locked the president's account for a minimum of 12 hours after removing three of his tweets that contained what Twitter described as "repeated and severe violations" of its civic integrity policy.
Twitter said that the decision was made "as a result of the unprecedented and ongoing violent situation in Washington, DC."
Twitter warned that if the violations continue, Trump's account will be suspended permanently.
To date, it is the harshest enforcement on the president's Twitter account @realDonaldTrump
