Priscilla Block Praises Rowdy Bossier City Concert Crowd

Pricilla Block brought her tour to Bossier City and took over Margaritaville Saturday night. It was a rough weekend for live music in Shreveport-Bossier after a sudden cancellation from Juvenile and his crew at the Shreveport Municipal. Several people were concerned about the future of live events in the city. The walk-up culture in Shreveport is disheartening not just for artists but also for lovers of live music. If we keep canceling concerts, will promoters quit working with Shreveport-Bossier?

Fortunately for the music scene in the SBC, country music fans showed up loud and proud for Pricilla Block. The country crowd didn't just show up, they were so epic that Block penned an epic letter to all the Bossier fans. You can read it below:

According to several Shreveport residents, this was one of the best concerts that Margaritaville has ever seen. Block was bringing fans up on stage and she somehow was shocked at how rowdy we get here in the Ratchet City. Stephanie Ivey took to her Facebook and said "Priscilla Block was everything! She brought us up on stage, gave us roses and we were Shreve-Famous for 5 minutes!"

Priscilla says she writes about stuff that she knows personally, “If that’s heartbreak or struggle or owning my flaws and being unapologetically me.” We love seeing a country star celebrate Bossier. Block claims she loved how Bossier turned a theatre into a rowdy bar.
