Two Shreveport Staples Team Up for Epic New Spot

It's What You Can Pair With Your Rhino Coffee That Has Heads Turning.

One of Shreveport's staples is doing something out of the normal that we're all excited for. What if those warm fresh donuts that can only be done right by the OG's at Southern Maid Donuts decided to make sure every donut has the perfect coffee pairing by the baristas at Rhino Coffee? Wouldn't that just be a dream? Turns out it's not just a dream.

These Two Shreveport Staples are Teaming Up for an Epic Collaboration.

Grant Nuckols one of the owners took to his Facebook page to make the big announcement over the weekend. 

"I am excited to announce that Andrew Crawford and I have partnered with Gill McElroy to bring Southern Maid Donuts to Provenance Community! This new location will be located inside of the recently-announced Rhino Coffee at the front of the neighborhood, on Southern Loop. It will feature a drive-thru, a covered patio, and a large outdoor courtyard.

This unique dual-branded location will showcase two Shreveport institutions. The business will offer the full breadth of both menus, including Southern Maid's famous donuts, kolaches, fritters, and cinnamon rolls; and Rhino's locally-roasted coffee, specialty drinks, baked goods, and lunch sandwiches.
Andrew and I have been lifetime fans of Southern Maid (along with most every Shreveporter), and we have especially admired Gill’s 70th Street location. He is a great operator, a super nice guy, and we look forward to working together to bring hot donuts to South Shreveport!"
