One of my favorite television shows finally returned tonight. Here's my spoiler-free review!

After 770 days, Rick and Morty finally came back into all of our lives with their season 4 premiere tonight. That's an incredibly long time considering the success and fandom with this show, but then again, no animated TV show in history has been this detailed and intricate, so a long wait is to be expected.

As Adult Swim predicted, 30 minutes after the show began, I can say without a doubt that it was worth the wait. I don't want to get into any plot details or events that took place during tonight's episode, accurately titled "Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat."

I certainly don't want to spoil anything for you, I also don't know if I could even accurately summarize what I just watched. The premier episode had everything you love about Rick and Morty. It had the twists and turns, it had the humor, it had an underlying message, and damn, it was really weird.

If season 4 is anything like this premiere episode, this will be the weirdest, craziest, most incredible five episodes of television in history.
