Long before we all gathered in silence with our phones turned off at Tinsel Town and the Boardwalk movie theaters, folks saw Hollywood's latest at drive-in movie theaters here in Shreveport-Bossier City and we've had some legendary ones!

Sure, there have been a few pop-up drive-in movie theaters throughout Shreveport-Bossier, especially during the pandemic, but no permanent locations. I've never actually seen a movie at a drive-in, but the idea makes me happy and nostalgic.

Did you ever go to the movies at any of these legendary locations? I hear they used to show 'adult-themed' titles at the drive-in just off of I-20 close to where Pierre Bossier Mall is now and if you looked really close as a kid, you could almost get a glimpse of something you shouldn't lol I'd love to hear your memories and see any pictures if you're lucky enough to have any!
