  • Christmas in Roseland is celebrating its 40th year at the American Rose Center in Greenwood!  They will have fireworks shows every Saturday in December, Santa is in the garden for photos every night from 6 - 9 pm, you can ride the Roseland Express mini train, and more! Open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening from 5:30 - 10 pm through December 17th and every night from December 18th - 23rd. $10 per person or $30 for four. 
  • Sno-Port is back at Sci-Port Discovery Center now through Monday, January 29! Tickets are $15 and activities include a sock skating rink, Snowball Pong, Freeze Frame, an Igloo Experience, and more!   
  • The Piney Park Winter Festival and Trail of Lights in Marshall, TX is back and open Monday through Saturday through December 31st from 5 - 10 pm

  • Experience the magic of Christmas like never before at Shreveport Aquarium's 4th annual BELIEVE! Lights the Night event It runs from 5 – 9 pm on December 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. Tickets are $30.   
  • Les Boutiques de Noel is happening now through Saturday, December 2nd at the Shreveport Convention Center in support of the Shreveport Opera. Day passes are $10, a three-day pass is $20. Military and Seniors - $5 Children 12 and under - Free

  • Head to Benton for the 23rd Annual Christmas on the Square Festival and Parade this Saturday, December 2nd from 10 am to 5 pm. The parade is at 3:30 pm. There will be free parking with shuttle service to and from the event at the Bossier Parish Court House.  
  • A Christmas-themed Artipsy Craft and Cocktails will be held at Artipsy in Shreveport on Saturday, December 2 at 2 PM. Tickets are $40.  
  • The Christmas on Caddo Fireworks Festival is Saturday, December 2 from 3:30 to 8 pm at Earl G. Williamson Park. The event is free to attend and there will be vendors and food trucks on site and an appearance by Santa!  
  • Downtown Artwalk returns Wednesday, December 6th from 5 – 8 pm and one of the activities is the Shreveport Regional Arts Council’s Sno Glo Cookie Competition with bakeries on-site for tasting and selling baked goods.

  • Head to Shreveport's Municipal Auditorium on Thursday, December 7 at 7:30 pm for This is Jesus: A Christmas Worship Concert Event with Tauren Wells, Katy Nichole, and Jordan Smith.   
  • The Winter Wonderettes will take over the Shreveport Little Theatre on Friday, December 8th at 7:30 pm featuring holiday classics for all ages. Tickets are $30.  
  • The Christmas In Minden Festival is back on December 8th and 9th.
    • On Friday, December 8th, there will be a lighting ceremony to kick things off at the Minden Civic Center at 5:30 pm followed by their Holiday Wine Walk from 5:30 - 8 pm. Tickets are $25 and you must be 21+. They’ll also have free hayride tours of the Christmas lights in downtown Minden from 6 – 9 pm.
    • On Saturday, they’ll have a Christmas brunch at Geaux Fresh from 9 am – 1 pm. There will be a holiday market from 10 am – 5 pm at The Venue on Pearl, kid’s crafts at Dorcheat Museum, a Christmas parade in downtown Minden at 4 pm, live music throughout the evening, and fireworks at 7:30 pm.

  • Saturday, December 9th, the Meadows Holiday Makers Market will take over the Meadows Museum of Art from 9 am – 1 pm. Admission is free.  
  • It’s Christmas in Haughton on Saturday, December 9th. The festival will be held at Haughton Middle School. This family-friendly event is free to the public and features a parade beginning at 10 am at First Baptist Church Haughton with floats, decorated vehicles, public safety vehicles,  bands, groups, cheerleaders, local teams and businesses and so much more. 
  • Don’t miss the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet’s Nutcracker when it returns to Riverview Theater on December 9th and 10th! 
  • The Bossier Holiday Night Market returns Saturday, December 9th from 3 to 9 pm with 225+ vendors, 16+ food trucks, free kid's activities, street performers, unicorn pony rides, face painting, balloons, live music, thousands of twinkle lights, and more!

  • On Sunday, December 10th, head to artspace for Sundaes with the Sno Queen from 1 – 4 pm. Not only can you check out the Sno Glo exhibit, but kids can also make their own sundaes, get pictures made with the Sno Queen, join a special Sno Queen dance session, and participate in a make-and-take activity. Tickets are $5 for adults, $15 for kids.  
  • Songs of the Season returns to Shreveport Community Church Wednesday, December 13th through Sunday, December 17th with performances at 2 pm and 7 pm. Tickets start at $25.   
  • Don’t miss artspace's Silent Night! Dive into the Sno Glo Exhibition for a unique Silent Disco, where you can dance the night away surrounded by mesmerizing art on Friday, December 15th from 9 pm – 1 am. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

  • On Saturday, December 16th, the Bossier Arts Council is giving you the chance to have breakfast with the Grinch at 9 am. Tickets are $10.   
  • Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland will take over Shreveport’s Municipal Auditorium on Saturday, December 16th at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $35 and up. This must-see holiday show combines circus acts and live music with a festive theme.

  • The Shreveport Symphony Orchestra Strings and Brass Quintet are set to perform Corelli’s Christmas Concerto plus holiday brass favorites at LSU Shreveport’s University Center on Sunday, December 17th at 3 pm. Admission is free.   
  • The Bossier Arts Council and East Bank District are once again hosting a holiday market on Saturday, December 23rd from 4 – 8 pm. Admission is free.
