Shreveport City Council Discuss a Rehab Center in Shreveport

This past Shreveport City Council meeting that was Tuesday, June 27th, discussed the possibility of building a rehab center in the area. According to news sources, the rehab center has been added to the list of things up for discussion for the next meeting on July 11th.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) say that rehab centers help give citizens the opportunity for recovery through a stable home life and finding purpose.

If the Shreveport City Council decides to move forward for the rehab center construction will begin almost immediately.
