Shreveport Designer Lands Spot to Compete on ‘Project Runway’
One of our own will hopefully "make it work" on this season of Project Runway.
I used to love Project Runway, but I found that I feel off the band wagon somewhere along the way. Probably because I never knew when and what channel it was on. However, I have found the perfect reason to watch again as we have Shreveport's own fashionista, Tasha Henderson-Robinson competing for the top spot, according to the Shreveport Times.
And it all kicks off September 15 on Lifetime.
Tasha, a graduate of Huntington High School, will be competing with 15 other designers in the hopes of winning $100,000 in cash and prizes. Not to mention, this is an incredibly opportunity for Tasha to launch her career and really establish her brand. She and her husband have started their own line, VonRay Designs.
So set you DVRs and get ready to cheer Tasha on! The 33-year-old isn't the only Louisiana native competing this year as Brik Allen will also be designing this season.
