Help Bring Free Concerts to Shreveport for the Next Three Years

My heart skips a beat thinking about the return of free events in Shreveport and Bossier City. Before the pandemic, our community enjoyed so many fun, free activities. Since the pandemic, it feels like our community is on a mission to bring more free events to our community.

Now, we have a chance to win a massive grant that would bring 30 live, professional concerts to one of our favorite parks over the next three years.

The Shreveport Regional Arts Council recently shared the exciting news that the Levitt Music Foundation has selected our city as one of 100 finalists nationwide. This could lead to a grant of up to $120,000 to produce 30 free, live, professional music concerts at Caddo Common Park.

This isn't just about music; it's about bringing our community back together.

How Do You Cast Your Vote for Shreveport?

Online public voting is open now and will close on September 15 at 7 p.m. Your vote is crucial. Fifty finalists will be selected through this public voting phase. The Levitt Foundation will then review the top proposals to select the final grant recipients, which will be announced on November 18, 2025.
