Shreveport Police Respond to Three Shootings in One Night
Shreveport Police had a busy evening on Wednesday (3/22/23) after having to respond to 3 separate shootings.
The first shooting happened in the Cedar Grove area. Police responded to a shooting that left a man wounded on West 77th Street. That man was rushed to the hospital. Police are asking those who may have witnessed the crime for any information, and the incident is still under investigation.
From the scene of that shooting, Police and witnesses could then hear 25 to 50 gunshots ring out near the scene of the first shooting. Police then responded to the west side of South Lakeshore drive where they found a Crown Victoria vehicle with bullet-holes. A passenger in the Crown Vic was injured by broken glass. Police are currently investigating.
Later in the evening Police were called to the third shooting at the Villa Norte Apartments on Fullerton Street. When Police arrived they found one man suffering from gunshot injuries. The victim was taken to the hospital, and told police the suspect fled in an orange Hyundai.
