Shreveport Social Media School Threat Leads to Arrest
A threat aimed at Southwood High School made the rounds on social media over the weekend. An investigation was launched by Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office after the post was brought to their attention, and it led to an arrest.
A juvenile was arrested in connection to the post. The post was brought to the police's attention after concern on social media. The threat comes after a violent week at Southwood High, that saw over 20 students involved in fights.
Southwood has seen a violent year, with over 54 students arrested already, according to Sheriff Steve Prator. Prator told KEEL News that the juvenile responsible for the threat has been taken to jail on charges of terrorizing.
