This Shreveport Teen Stuns on The Voice with a Jackson 5 Classic
Max Chambers, a 14-year-old singer and actor from Shreveport, Louisiana, just shocked The Voice with his cover of a Michael Jackson classic. It was a shock for the judges when they turned around their chairs to see a teen behind the voice, and it was another shock for viewers at home in Shreveport when they realized he was representing the 318.

Max Chambers' debut on the national stage featured his amazing performance of the classic Jackson 5 hit "I Want You Back," which instantly won over the judges as they began dancing and singing along in their chairs before they ever saw the singer. The entire panel of judges was so impressed that it wasn't a surprise that each of them wanted to take Chambers on their team.
From Shreveport to Broadway to The Voice: Max Chambers' Journey
This was the first time for the young singer to step onto a national stage in front of millions on TV, but it's not the first time Max has found himself on a grand stage. Before The Voice, Max Chambers was acting on Broadway in MJ the Musical as none other than a young Michael Jackson. It's no surprise Chambers picked out one of MJ's hits since he seems to share a connection with the King of Pop's career.
Michael Bublé and Reba McEntire were both big fans just a few words into the song, and after Snoop Dogg and Niall Horan both couldn't hold back from giving Chambers talent some high praise. Ultimately, Max Chamber decided to choose Michael Buble as his coach for this season of The Voice. Shreveport now has a chance to follow along as a local 14-year-old gets to show the world just what he's got.
