Shreveporter Killed in Wreck at Youree and 70th

One man has died following a crash at Youree Drive and East 70th. The crash happened just after 7pm Sunday night.

The Caddo Parish Coroner's office has identified the victim as 66-year-old Calvin Wayne Johnson of the 66-hundred block of Buncombe Road in West Shreveport.
He died at Ochsner LSU Health hospital just after 7:40 p.m. He was transported there from the collision in southeast Shreveport. An autopsy was authorized at Ochsner.

The collision remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department. One other person was injured in the wreck and 70th Street had to be closed for a bit while the wreck was cleaned up.
