After a fun week at Geek'd Con we are all left wondering when we will get our next fix. Our community thrives off of live events and COVID-19 took so many of our favorite festivals away in 2020, we are sitting here holding our breath.

Geek'd Con was proof that we can have a fun event and still follow all COVID-19 protocols. Yes, we can have nice things in Louisiana. So now let us look forward to the fun events and festivals the fall will bring to Shreveport-Bossier.

Highland Jazz and Blues Festival - September 18th

The Highland Jazz and Blues Festival is an experience unlike any other. Its one day of nonstop music and this year the Grammy nominated Buddy Flett will be there. The lineup is nothing short of epic. The fact that it's a free event to our community in the heart of the historic district is what makes this festival so epic.

The Heritage and Harvest Tour - September 25th

What is the Heritage and Harvest Tour? It's a self-driving tour some call it an "Old Fashioned Pouch Tour." You can stop by the porches of nine beautiful homes in the country along with historic church sites, farms, and more backroad gems. You will need tickets, click here for more info.

Prize Fest - September 24th through October 2nd

Prize Fest is an experience to say the least. It's a two-weekend event that calls all film lovers, self proclaimned foodies, musicians, fashionistas, and lovers of comedy.They are already selling tickets and this year, you'll want to get your tickets ASAP. Click here for more ticket info.

The Dixie Maze Fall Festival - September 25th through November 6th

Want to get lost in a corn maze? Take the perfect Instagram photo in a pumpkin patch? Want to go for a real life Louisiana Hayride? Red River Revel Arts Festival - October 2nd through October 10th

The Red River Revel Arts Festival is nine days of beautiful local art, delicious food, and live music. It's a Shreveport staple for the past 45 years.

BREW - October 23rd

BREW is where we all leave our favorite brewery to discover new beer. It's not just local beer we are sipping on we have beer from all over Louisiana and it's also a plus that we get some of the most deliscious local food to pair with our new favortie beer.
