Wait… Is Silver Star in Bossier City, LA Really Closed?
In the wake of a ton of other restaurant closings in Shreveport-Bossier City, LA, we never thought we'd see this!
Is Silver Star Cantina in Bossier City, LA really closed?
Yes, but not really. I know, right? Clear as mud! It turns out that David Alvis and the team at Silver Star let us know this was coming, but it still took a few of us, like me, by surprise.
While you can still get the Tex-Mex goodness that you enjoyed previously at Silver Star Cantina, you just can't get it on the corner of Texas and Airline in Bossier. That building, at least according to the 318 Eats! page on Facebook is going to become an event space. You can still find that Silver Star Tex-Mex that you love, like the brisket stuff avocado on Airline Drive, just a little further north.
Whew! When we first saw the question about whether or not Silver Star Cantina was closed on Facebook, we'll admit, we had a minor freak out. Their margaritas are fantastic (read: potent!) But here's the good news, now everyone can get what they want when you go out to eat!
