A new restaurant/bar that was set to open soon in Bossier City's Louisiana Boardwalk was vandalized this past weekend before it could even hold a grand opening.

The latest restaurant/bar option that was set to open in Bossier City's Louisiana Boardwalk was vandalized over the weekend... before it even had the chance to open to the public. The business in question is called Steezy's, a bar/restaurant that promises to bring you a taste of New Orleans.

Part of the ambiance of Steezy's was due in part to its decor and murals painted by local artist Teryan Mays. Here's a look at his work before it was unfortunately defaced.

While the ownership of Steezy's announced via Facebook earlier this week that the restaurant opening had been put off another 14 days while they made sure everything was ready to go, this happened.

The vandalism sounds like it was a personal attack, but with all the cameras, etc... on the Louisiana Boardwalk, I have no doubt that the culprit will soon be found. In the meantime, Chelsea Walker, the owner of Skeezy's is asking for the public's help in replacing and repairing all of the damage done. Chelsea has set up a GoFundMe and is looking for $25,000 if you can help.

However, while the needed repairs are made and equipment is replaced, start dreaming about this delectable treat!
