‘Suicide Squad’ Cast Announced

The speculation is over and the cast for the upcoming film "Suicide Squad", based on the DC comic book, has been announced.

Jared Leto has been tapped to play to play the Joker, while Will Smith is slated to play Deadshot.

The role of Rick Flagg will be played by Tom Hardy, amd Margot Robbie will play Harley Quinn. Rounding out the cast will be Jai Courtney ("Unbroken") as Boomerang and Cara Delevingue as the Enchantress.

For the yet-to-be-filled role of Amanda Waller, execs are reportedly considering Viola Davis ("How to Get Away With Murder"), Octavia Spencer and Oprah Winfrey, while Jesse Eisenberg is in talks to reprise his role as Lex Luthor.

The highly-anticipated film is slated to begin production in Toronto this coming April with a release date planned for August 5, 2016. This one promises to be worth the wait!
