Summer Grove Baptist Church Offers Shreveport-Bossier Ice Skating, Christmas Village

Get into the Christmas spirit with Summer Grove Baptist Church.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Shreveport thanks to Summer Grove Baptist Church. They've turned a part of the parking lot into an ice rink. "Southern Lights" is officially open and will run through December 22.

The rink if pretty substantial as it is 102' x 52'. In addition, part of the church has been transformed into a Christmas Village with free crafts, bounce houses and Christmas movies.

Admission is free for the Village. To skate it's $10 per person. You will also need to sign a waiver before receiving your skating wristband.

Food trucks and concessions are available each night. There is also live music. Enjoy fun for the entire family Monday through Wednesday, 5-9 p.m. and Thursday through Sunday 5-10 pm.
