‘Supergirl’ Is Done With Kara Danvers in New Season 3 Trailer
If Supergirl Season 1 was all about Kara learning to be her Super-self, and vice-versa for Season 2, Season 3 might abandon duality altogether. Supergirl is done with her human alter-ego in a new Season 3 trailer, and out for some serious Blood(sport).
The CW released its first official Supergirl Season 3 trailer since Comic-Con, highlighting both Kara’s jaded outlook in the wake of Mon-El’s disappearance, and new DC villain Bloodsport. We also get a brief look at Reign (Odette Annable) in human form, and what looks like Supergirl getting her very own National City statue. How thoughtful, right?
Elsewhere of Supergirl Season 3, Katie McGrath’s Lena Luthor has been elevated to series regular and Floriana Lima’s Maggie Sawyer has been downgraded to recurring (but alive). Calista Flockhart will return briefly, while new additions include S.H.I.E.L.D. favorite Adrian Pasdar as Morgan Edge, former Martian Manhunter voice Carl Lumbly as J’onn J’onnz’s father, Yael Grobglas as DC villain Psi, and Emma Tremblay as Supergirl super-fan Ruby.
In the meantime, stay tuned for more on the October 9 Supergirl premiere.
