A Lafayette woman has hit the front page of TMZ for a really great (but slightly bizarre, by TMZ standards) reason: she is rehabilitating an injured squirrel.

Great Raft is giving back to aid the firefighting effort and help restore the 12.35 million acres already scorched in the blazes.

I am just happy that someone is thinking about the animals, and making sure there is some kind of effort being made.
