The first Tuesday in October is National Night out in our area. National Night Out has been taking place for many years, and was started to bring communities closer together to combat distrust and crime in neighborhoods.
National Night Out is taking place next Tuesday in both Bossier and Caddo Parishes. In Bossier and Caddo the Night Out will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Residents in neighborhoods throughout Bossier City and Shreveport are asked to turn on outside lights and spend an evening outside with neighbors and police.
